Lemnisk offers an intelligent and secure customer data platform (“Platform“) that delivers measurable results in the form of leads and conversions (“Services“) to large enterprises (“Customers“):
Lemnisk considers the privacy and security of Users as critical and is committed to protecting the same. “User” means a visitor to the Customer’s desktop or mobile website.
2. Nature of data collected and manner of collection
Lemnisk collects behavior data such as type of browser, cookie information, IP address of the device, geographical location (only at a city level) and recommendation data such as recommended products or offers of Customer and information to enable Lemnisk to reach Users such as email address and phone numbers. The foregoing Data is received through offline and online sources, as agreed with the relevant Customer.
Lemnisk uses the Data to provide Services to Customers by offering a customized and consistent marketing experience to the Users by showing suitable product recommendations and power communication with Users through various channels.
At all times, Lemnisk uses Data as per instructions of the Customer and if required, in compliance with their privacy policies as indicated to Lemnisk separately.
4. Duration, location of storage and security of Data
Lemnisk keeps the Data for up to 5 years or as agreed in our contract with Customers. The Data is stored in a Lemnisk owned AWS account located across US/Singapore/India/Japan.
Additionally, Lemnisk is ISO 27001 certified and ISO 27018 compliance certified, accredited by BSI.
5. Third Party Transfer and Access
The Data will pass through our infrastructure provider systems – AWS.
We may share Data with other third party vendors of Customers if authorized to do so by the relevant Customer.
Apart from the above access; Lemnisk will not share Data with organizations or individuals external to Lemnisk unless it is essential to meet:
- Applicable laws, regulations, legal processes or enforceable governmental request.
- Enforce applicable terms of service, including investigation of potential violations.
- Detect, prevent or address fraud, security or technical issues.
- Protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of Lemnisk, users or the public as required or permitted by law.
6. Legal Basis
Under GDPR, with respect to Data, Lemnisk acts as a processor and the Customers acts as the controller. Lemnisk is not facing the User. Therefore, the legal basis for processing Data is determined by the Customer.
7. Rights of User
As Lemnisk processes Data on behalf of the Customers, Users are requested to contact the Customer directly for any correction, amendment or deletion requirements.
If the User believes that Lemnisk holds information that would allow Lemnisk to correct, amend or delete inaccurate information about the User, User may contact Lemnisk as mentioned below. Lemnisk will undertake reasonable efforts to provide access to such data within a reasonable time.
